Lynn was the kid who kept friends and family entertained with her wild imagination, but she didn't realize the power of storytelling until she captivated her 7th grade class with an impromptu oral report of Treasure Island (she earned an A).

She went on to explore storytelling, studying Dramatic Arts at UC Berkeley, later attending Brigham Young University where she took storytelling and folklore classes.

For decades, Lynn worked as a writer, interviewing and gathering stories for documentaries, articles, and other projects, fine-tuning her skills as a storyteller at festivals, libraries, schools, museums, conferences, symposiums, retreats, reunions, celebrations, parties and other venues.

As a member of Three Boomer Broads, a storytelling trio who share stories about growing up in the 1950′s and 1960′s, Lynn is a co-author of a collection of their stories in a book titled “Three Boomer Broads: Remembering While We Still Can.”

Along with performing, Lynn has been the producer of numerous events, inlcuding the La Crosse Storytelling Festival, Wisconsin's largest storytelling festival.  She is currently the Story Training Committee chair of Story Crossroads,  headquartered in Salt Lake CIty, Utah.
